Samson & Roxanne {Ancaster Custom Child Photography}

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

I am so excited to show you these gorgeous kiddos! Samson and Roxanne were full of energy and fun and love for one another! They kept us on our toes during their time in front of the cameras- but they are adorable and when you combine that with awesome light, an amazing location and lots of smiles…well, you have magic!

And this image was already shared in another post- but I had to show it again! I love this!

And last but certainly not least…the same day we did this fun creative shoot, Melissa and Emily and I took a few headshots of each other.

Here are my faves of Melissa and Emily!

Thanks for the amazing day ladies. And thanks to all our gorgeous models and their mothers as well- who took the time out of their Saturday to let us do our thing! It was a blast and I loved every minute! I really enjoy incorporating fun elements into a session to bring out the personalities of the subjects and keep it fun and interesting. If you would like to do something like this, please contact me to book your session!

Lynden {Ancaster Child Photography}

Wednesday, April 20th, 2011

I have so many images I want to share from this session in Ancaster, I thought I would split it up into three blog posts.

We started the afternoon with Lynden, an adorable 8 year old boy who happens to attend my church, and who has awesome hair. Yes, I just said that. I love his hair and if Kingston EVER grows hair, I hope it’ll be like Lynden’s! Lynden was amazing to work with- we were done long before the time we allotted, which happened to work out as he had an opportunity to go watch the Leaf’s play that night! I think he was extra cooperative so that he could leave on time ;) His mom Tara brought along a couple outfits, which was great as it allows the session to have variety in the images.

Anyways, on to the images.

Lynden, thanks for being such a good sport and an awesome model! I hope you enjoyed the Leaf’s game!

On another note, I have entered in a giveaway on another photographer’s blog and I would totally LOVE to win this one! The amazing Andee Tate is having a giveaway on her blog ( http://cravemyphotography.com/blog/world-wide-giveaway ). She is an incredible artist and I have been wanting to learn from her for a LONG time. If you’re a photographer, definitely go check out her blog and enter! I hear she’s an incredibly sweet person in real life too- and I can’t get over the generosity of this giveaway! Here’s hoping I win!
